How do you select your wines for the tastings?
As we are independent of any specific wine retailer, importer or producer, we choose our range of wines from various well respected Irish importers. We have a list of ‘our favourites’ which we regularly use for our various packages. Our emphasis is on quality wine, so our starting point is €10.00 per bottle. The wines vary for each of our packages ensuring the wines are relevant to your selected theme, great quality and value for money.
What will the presentation be like?
Generally, our tastings are relaxed and informal, entertaining, interactive and informative. We also host masterclasses, corporate VIP days and formal structured tastings. We can discuss which format would be most suitable for your group.
Do you provide food?
Although we do not provide food, we understand that food may need to be incorporated into your event. We are happy to facilitate this, by recommending some catering companies that we have dealt with in the past. Alternatively many groups have cheese & charcuterie platters or order pizza. We can pause the tasting at any point to accommodate a food break.
Do you sell wine?
Wine Tasting Ireland does not have a licence to sell wine. We are happy to provide you with a list of stockists of any wines shown at a tasting if you wish to purchase them for yourself.
